The annual conference series of SuSChemE and SUSTENS HUB are joining forces to host a special conference edition in Athens, Greece, on June 29–30, 2026. This co-organized event brings together the Sustainability Section of EFCE (European Federation of Chemical Engineering) and the SUSTENS HUB chemical engineering platform, uniting leaders in sustainability, chemical engineering, and systems innovation.
On behalf of our partner Prof. Antonis Kokossis – conference chair and organising committee along with Prof. Seyed Mansouri, and Dr. Kostas Pyrgakis – we’d like to invite you (including engineers, researchers, academics, under-/post-graduate students and industrial practitioners of all levels) to submit your abstract and present your latest work at the SuSChemE–SUSTENS 2 Conference.

Abstract submission is NOW OPEN and the deadline is 28 February 2026. There will also be multiple publication opportunities, including conference proceedings and full-length manuscripts.
The conference also offers a dedicated platform for EU-funded projects to:
- host project workshops to disseminate their results,
- support project clustering activities,
- benefit from exhibition booths and customized sponsorship options, and
- integrate their Final Event activities.
