The Bioindustry 4.0 team is excited to announce a joint event organised together with IBISBA and the BIOS team.
How can early-stage technologies become industry-ready tools?
That’s the question at the heart of “Biotechnology & Artificial Intelligence,” a joint event hosted by IBISBA, Bioindustry 4.0, and BIOS, taking place 24–25 September 2026 at Espaces Vanel, Médiathèque de Toulouse.
Over two days, the event brings together researchers, industry leaders, and investors to explore how AI, automation, digital twins, and data-driven tools are reshaping biomanufacturing.
Day 1 is a plenary programme spanning automation, data acquisition, digital twins, and success stories from the BIOS and Bioindustry 4.0 projects. The day closes with a panel on AI & Digitization for industry and investment, featuring representatives from Siemens, INRAE, HINA Bioventures, TWB, and PantaBio AG, followed by a showing of a installation from our artist in residence, Spela Petric.
Day 2 brings interactive workshops, where experts pitch cutting-edge digital services born out of the Bioindustry 4.0 and BIOS projects, and explore how research can become real industrial applications.
