Bioindustry 4.0, the BIOS consortium, and IBISBA are coming together on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟰–𝟮𝟱 for a joint meeting to discuss 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆-𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀.
Over two days, the programme brings together talks, panel discussions, and workshops, with AI and biotechnology as a common thread: both the BIOS consortium and the Bioindustry 4.0 team will present their work in this area. It also features an artistic intervention, in which our artist in residence presents an artwork created in collaboration with the team and inspired by Bioindustry 4.0.
As part of the programme, we’re hosting a 𝗰𝗼-𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 on 𝟳 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 developed by the Bioindustry 4.0 team.
Workshop description
Bioindustry 4.0 aims to integrate computational science and biotechnology to transform the biomanufacturing sector, developing shared digital services for a consortium of European partners and research infrastructures. To ensure these services deliver practical, real-world value, this workshop brings together industry leaders and the developers of seven tools for industrial biomanufacturing.
Bioindustry 4.0 experts from across Europe will pitch digital services spanning bioprocess monitoring and control, lab data integration, and strain discovery, followed by interactive discussion sessions exploring how these solutions can translate into real-world applications.
We want to hear directly from you:
what does it take, technically, operationally, and commercially, to bring these tools into your production environment?
Come share your input on integration needs, regulatory considerations, and the practical barriers to adoption.
